Terms of Service & Community Safety

Welcome to LiliDog Nation. We are a community that happens to play a lot of games, built around people, friendship, shared interests, creativity, and conversation.
These Terms of Service and Community Safety Rules ("Terms") govern your use of LiliDog Nation.
By creating an account, submitting content, or otherwise using LiliDog Nation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Age Requirements
LiliDog Nation accounts are intended for people 13 years of age or older.
You must provide your accurate date of birth when registering. Date of birth is used to determine account eligibility, enforce age-based access restrictions, protect users, prevent abuse, administer accounts, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Birth dates are private and are not displayed on public profiles.
People under 13 may not create or maintain LiliDog Nation accounts.
Users ages 13–17 may use the general community but may not access Age-Restricted Content (18+).
Age-Restricted Content may be available only to users whose account information establishes that they are at least 18 and who otherwise satisfy applicable access requirements.
Users must not falsify age information or attempt to bypass age protections. Doing so may result in restriction, suspension, or termination.
If LiliDog Nation obtains credible information indicating that an existing account belongs to a person under 13, we may suspend the account while the matter is reviewed and take appropriate action regarding the account and associated personal information.
2. Age-Restricted and Prohibited Content
LiliDog Nation covers video games, entertainment, and other subjects that may include violence, strong language, suggestive material, sexual themes, nudity, or other mature subjects.
Appropriate editorial, informational, artistic, historical, educational, or gaming-related discussion or imagery may be permitted but may be classified as Age-Restricted Content (18+) when appropriate.
Age-Restricted Content is inaccessible to members under 18.
Age restriction does not make otherwise prohibited content acceptable.
Pornography and material whose primary purpose is sexual arousal are prohibited on LiliDog Nation.
Sexual exploitation of minors, sexual content involving minors, or material sexualizing a person represented as a minor is prohibited. Illegal material may be removed immediately and handled as required by applicable law.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for taking reasonable steps to protect your login credentials.
Do not:
- intentionally provide materially false account information;
- impersonate another person;
- falsely claim an affiliation;
- share or misuse another person's account;
- circumvent account restrictions, moderation actions, security measures, or age controls.
Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Community Expectations
LiliDog Nation is built around community participation. Members may disagree, joke around, debate games and other subjects, and have different personalities. Participation must not cross into abuse of other members or misuse of the service.
You may not use LiliDog Nation to:
- harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate another person;
- post hateful content targeting people based on protected characteristics;
- make or encourage credible threats of violence or serious harm;
- publish another person's private or personally identifying information without permission;
- impersonate another person or falsely represent an affiliation;
- spam, manipulate, or deliberately disrupt the site or community;
- distribute malware, phishing links, scams, or intentionally harmful material;
- engage in fraud or unlawful activity;
- post material you do not have the legal right to share;
- infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- bypass moderation, security, account, or age protections.
5. Protecting Personal Information
Do not publicly post sensitive personal information about yourself or another person, including private home addresses, passwords, financial information, precise private location information, or information that could reasonably create a significant privacy or safety risk.
Members should exercise particular care when communicating with people they do not know personally.
Reporting and blocking tools should be used when another member engages in inappropriate or unsafe behavior.
6. Content You Submit
Members may submit articles, comments, images, reviews, guides, recipes, builds, profile information, game information, and other materials ("User Content").
You retain ownership of original content you create.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of your work to LiliDog Nation.
By submitting User Content, you grant LiliDog Nation a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, resize, technically modify, distribute, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, promote, and display LiliDog Nation and its services.
This license permits your content to appear on pages that may contain advertising, affiliate links, sponsorships, or other monetization.
It does not transfer ownership of your content to LiliDog Nation. You may continue to use, publish, license, or sell your original work elsewhere.
You represent that you own your submitted material or have sufficient permission to submit it and grant the rights described above.
7. LiliDog Nation Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, original LiliDog Nation branding, graphics, software, written material, site design, and other original site content belong to their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Third-party game names, trademarks, artwork, screenshots, products, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance on LiliDog Nation does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation unless expressly stated.
8. Reports
Members may report content or conduct they reasonably believe violates these Terms or the site's safety standards.
Reports are reviewed by an administrator.
A good-faith report does not result in a penalty merely because an administrator ultimately determines that no violation occurred.
A reporting ding is added only when an administrator determines that a report was knowingly abusive, such as deliberately using reports to harass another member or repeatedly submitting reports known to be false.
Three abusive-report findings may suspend a member's ability to submit additional reports until an appeal is approved.
Reports concerning possible underage users, safety concerns, or copyright issues may be routed to specialized administrative review.
9. Content Strikes
A confirmed ordinary content violation may result in an active strike associated with the affected content.
At five active strikes, new articles submitted by that member may require administrator approval before publication.
When violating content is corrected and approved, or when an administrator determines that a moderation decision was incorrect, the associated active strike may be removed.
The strike system addresses ordinary violations. It does not guarantee that every violation will receive a warning or strike before stronger action is taken.
10. Serious Violations
LiliDog Nation may immediately remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, the community, the service, or third parties.
Serious violations may include credible threats, doxxing, severe harassment, sexual exploitation, illegal material, malware, fraud, security attacks, deliberate enforcement evasion, or other conduct presenting a significant risk of harm.
Serious violations do not require accumulated strikes before action is taken.
11. Appeals and Corrections
Members whose reporting privileges have been suspended may submit one pending appeal at a time.
Administrators may consider relevant reports, moderation history, evidence, and the member's response.
Content authors may correct violating material and resubmit it when that option is appropriate.
Moderation decisions may be reconsidered when new information becomes available or an administrator determines that a previous decision was incorrect.
12. Copyright and DMCA
LiliDog Nation respects intellectual-property rights.
Copyright claims are handled under our DMCA Copyright Policy.
The DMCA process is separate from ordinary community reports.
LiliDog Nation may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material when appropriate and may terminate accounts of repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.
A community report alleging copyright infringement does not automatically establish that infringement occurred.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information LiliDog Nation collects, how it is used, when it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and what choices users have.
Private information collected for site functions, including date of birth and certain giveaway-fulfillment information, is not displayed publicly except as specifically disclosed or chosen by the user where applicable.
14. Giveaways and Promotions
LiliDog Nation may offer giveaways, contests, or promotions.
Individual promotions may contain additional eligibility requirements, deadlines, entry rules, geographic limitations, platform requirements, or fulfillment requirements.
Information collected to administer or fulfill a promotion will not be publicly displayed except as disclosed in the applicable promotion rules or Privacy Policy.
15. Affiliate Links, Advertising, Sponsorships, and Third Parties
LiliDog Nation may contain affiliate links, referral links, advertisements, sponsorships, or other commercial relationships.
We may receive compensation when someone purchases something or takes another qualifying action through certain links.
Material commercial relationships will be disclosed where required.
Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. LiliDog Nation does not control their independent services or policies.
16. Availability and Changes
We work to keep LiliDog Nation functioning, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
Features may be added, modified, restricted, suspended, or removed.
Accounts, content, or features may become unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, security concerns, legal obligations, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
17. No Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LiliDog Nation and its content are provided "as is" and "as available."
Community articles, guides, reviews, comments, builds, recommendations, and other User Content may contain errors or become outdated.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, User Content represents the views or work of the person who submitted it and is not an official statement by LiliDog Nation.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LiliDog Nation and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
19. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when a member violates these Terms, repeatedly abuses site features, creates a significant safety or security risk, repeatedly infringes intellectual-property rights, or when action is reasonably necessary for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Whenever practical and appropriate, we prefer correction and communication over permanent removal. Serious circumstances may require immediate action.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes or legal, safety, or operational requirements develop.
The effective date will be updated when material revisions are published. When appropriate, registered members may receive additional notice.
Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to LiliDog Nation's operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
22. Contact
Questions regarding these Terms, safety, moderation, privacy, or copyright may be submitted using the appropriate contact or reporting method provided by LiliDog Nation.
The short version: Be good to people. Don't abuse the community. Don't post things you don't have the right to post. Respect people's privacy. Follow the age protections. Report dangerous behavior. We'd rather help someone correct a mistake than remove them from the community, but protecting the community comes first.
